ABOUT US

Couleur Cafe is a charity that was initially founded by students Maxime and Leonard in 2012 to participate to the 4L Trophy - a rally in Africa that aims at supporting education in Morroco. After the rally, they decided to stay involved in development and education at a small scale with targetted actions.

Past projects include:

  • Solar Energy installation in a ksar (2013) : was supported by Deloitte and won Eco Challenge 2013. We build a large installation in a ksar to produce sustainable energy to provide light, water and a heating system to the village.

  • 4L Trophy (2013) : final ranking was #3, we brought 100kg food, 100kg school supplies and 50kg paramedical equipment to Merzouga.

Couleur Cafe was previously supported by companies such as Deloitte and is recognized by the French State as "d'utilité générale" (helpful to the society) which means that it is, among other things, able to issue tax receipts that give right to the "mécénat", a 66% tax rebate on every donation for individuals and 60% for companies.

Past awards include:

  • Deloitte Eco Challenge 2013.

  • Ranked #3 for 4L Trophy 2013.
